DESCRIPTION:The term "Gospel" holds significant weight in both the New Tes
tament and the Qur'an\, albeit with differing interpretations. While the N
ew Testament mentions "Gospel" 118 times\, the Qur'an refers to it as "Inj
il" twelve times\, often alongside the Torah and Qur'an itself. This juxta
position suggests that\, the Gospel is a divine revelation akin to the Tor
ah and Qur'an. By analyzing relevant verses from both texts\, the research
aims to provide insights into these inquiries. The research methodology i
nvolves a systematic analysis of Gospel mentions in each text\, followed b
y a comparative study to identify semantic overlaps. 1. In Christian theol
ogy\, the Gospel signifies the message of salvation and eternal life broug
ht by Christ's sacrifice. 2. The Qur'an elevates the Gospel to a status ak
in to the Torah\, 2 suggesting it as a divine revelation bestowed upon Jes
us. 3. Some instances of the usage of the Gospel in the New Testament are
 explicit in Christian theological theory.
